This applies to Mac OS 10.7 and MXWendler version 4.2 and above
Problem:
- You reinstalled / upgraded MXWendler - even into another folder - and suddenly USB or FireWire audio does not work anymore.
Test:
- Somewhere in the audio driver the Mac does not provide enough information to MXW to reopen the audio device.
Solution:
- There are two known solutions:
- a) go to systemsettings, switch to internal speaker and back
- b) re-install the USB/FireWire audio driver
