Add the Preferences toolbox

(C) In order to add a toolbox, a new window needs to be created: drag the upper right corner of the Video Sequence Editor (the video preview) to the left. A copy of the same window will be created.

Set up the Rendering Options

Use the following values to have a correctly encoded video.

Framerate: we highly recommend to use a framerate of 30 or 60 (60 requires more performance). To avoid lag and glitches all the footage of a project should have the same amount of fps
Output: FFmpeg
Container: Quicktime
Codec: H264
Keyframe Interval: 5
Audio Codec: AAC

Export

Once the right values are set up we just need to:

(A) Import the footage (simply drag and drop from the folder to the timeline).
(B) Set a start and an end frame.
(C) Set output folder and file name.
(D) Click on Animate to start the render.
