This applies to Windows XP and MXWendler version 4.0 and above with NVidida graphics

Problem:

  • The MXW UI runs, and you see content updating in the output on the first screen, but not on the second ( output ) screen

Reason:

  • You have an NVidia graphics board

Solution:

  • Open NVidia system settings
  • Under 'Multi-GPU Acceleration' enable 'Compatibility Mode'

Background:

  • If you select performance mode, only the first screen receives OpenGL updates
  • This is performance wise the best solution, but you have to split the screen eg. using a Matrox Triplehead or using a NVidia horizontal span
