5. Troubleshooting scripts

Problem

JavaScript is not functioning as intended. No corresponding action happens when the trigger button for the event is pressed.

Hints

1. Open the JavaScript console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (Mac:Command+Shift+J) and look for error messages.
2. Check for syntax errors in your code and ensure that interface functions are written correctly.
3. Note that certain types of errors may not be visible in the JavaScript console. To identify them, check for any color-coded functions in the code.
4. Verify the widget and make sure that the address is valid. To find the correct address name, refer to the complete list of addresses available in the 'Receiver' menu, and copy and paste it accordingly.
