Windows 10 + Asus Motherboards - Multimonitoring Issues

This applies to Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and MXWendler version 5.0 and above (or other multi-display apps) on ASUS Motherboards.

Problem

The software freezes at startup when a second display is used.

Solution

Open the Windows Services, search for: Nahimic service and Deactivate it.

Background

The Nahimic audio service from the newest Asus Motherboards is preventing multi monitoring programs to work correctly.
Deactivating the service will be enough, but we recommend uninstalling the SonicRadar app, after deactivating the service. Use Realtek drivers, Asio or the driver from an external audio card to avoid issues.
